Organising is well underway to welcome you all in person at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Bali, Indonesia. The conference team, are working hard to put together a three-day comprehensive agenda, including leading visionary keynote and seminar speakers. There will also be a new programme for CFO which will consist of presentation and discussion targeted at improving our industry financial strength.
The insurance industry has been seriously tested since we were last together. The challenges we face today: insurers, reinsurers, brokers and our customers, are very different than in 2019. The turbulent challenges following the pandemic including fuel prices, rising inflation, low investment yields, supply chain issues, workforce disruption, all of which make this one of the most challenging times to run a business in recent memory.
A unique chance of an opportunity and a responsibility.
We think this is a unique chance for our industry to show how we deliver for our customers and to demonstrate the value that insurance can provide and this is not just an opportunity, but also a responsibility. The low trust in insurance is compounded by the economic challenges facing businesses across the country, creating a paradox: despite low trust in the insurance industry, the need for the assurance that insurance can provide is at an all-time high, there was a lot of good work that really helped our customers when they needed us most.

And so, the theme of this year's gathering seems particularly in line with the main theme of G20 PRESIDENCY OF INDONESIA, and it is only by working together with our insurance community that we can deliver for our customers to provide peace of mind for the broad range of risks they face in a dynamic and changing world. Join us at the 26th INDONESIA RENDEZVOUS, as this is perfectly timed for us to get together and to have in common how we can grow stronger, together, for the benefit of our customers and our industry.
